I do not feel like I can relate to this video much at all. I am not a person who envolves alot of technology in her life and its hard for me to relate to these videos of people who spend every second of their life working with technology.
This video has just reminded me that there are several apps available through the internet that can be useful in numerous ways.
I think it is neat that Joyce presents her hobby for others to see and learn from.
I liked the honesty of this post. I am one who grew up in a time before personal computers and much of the technology of today. As such it is hard for me to comprehend being tied to technology 24 hours a day. I also understand that this is the evolution of the day.
ReplyDeleteI might suggest that you use spellchecking, proofreading, or having someone else proofread postings before posting.
It is refreshing to see that I ams not the only one who feels like technology is taking over our lives.
You might come back to this preso in a year or two and see if you can take some things away from it after you've been teaching awhile... Some of the tools for student research are quite good which they address. (http://www.noodletools.com) Of course I'm sure the tools will change and grow a lot in a couple year's time!
